Osgoode is looking for occasional groomer operators! This Saturday Jan 29, 2022 at the clubhouse we are having a groomer demonstration day, 10am to 1pm. We have two amazing guys that log many hours in the machines. But there are a few nights a week they just can’t go out.
This is a serious position, our over 900 members plus visitors count on the operator to smooth out the bumps and fill the ditches. These machines are our most expensive and most demanded assets, we just don’t hand the keys over to anyone. Previous equipment experience is a huge asset. While breakdowns can occur, responsible operation of the equipment ensures unnecessary downtime throughout the short season.
Online training and in-vehicle training with existing operators are provided. Evening shifts are on average 8 to 12h long. There is a need to occasionally clear downed trail debris during the run. Pay is as determined by District guidelines.
